Safeguarding Update – November 2018

Here’s an update from Richard Hadley, Angling Trust Coaching Centre Manager and Lead Safeguarding Officer about Angling Trust safeguarding documents for coaches and clubs, as well as some useful links and contacts to get advice on this important aspect of angling coaching…

All the angling trust policies and procedures have been updated and are in the process of being reviewed by the Angling Trust Board. All policies, codes of practice and guidance will soon be uploaded to www.childreninangling.org. Coaches and Clubs will then have access to all the latest guidance and downloadable documents. These support the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults across the whole of angling’s activities.

A reminder that free safeguarding advice is available from either Richard Hadley or Darren Birch, contact details below.
