Spring Into Fishing comes to Yorkshire this weekend when FREE fishing for families and kids arrives at Hull & District Angling Association’s brilliant Brough Fishery Complex, Hull on Sunday 19th March with some special guests on hand to help anglers of all abilities get into fishing or learn more…
This free, fun and friendly activity day for families is run by the Angling Trust and funded by the Environment Agency. It’s a great way to get everyone out doing something different and will help kids learn new skills outdoors – best of all it won’t cost a penny!
Come and get expert fishing advice for beginners and experienced anglers and fish for free with Bev Clifford from Carp Team England and Carp-Talk magazine, big-fish man Brian Skoyles, all round angler Andy Loble and the friendly volunteers from the Pike Angler’s Club of GB. There’s an awesome FREE prize draw to enter at the event too with tackle prizes from Hull Angling Centre, Carp-Talk magazine subscriptions and Hull & District Angler’s Association memberships up for grabs!
Everything needed to learn more about the wonderful world of fishing is provided and our friendly volunteers will make everyone really welcome. Spring Into Fishing sessions are for all ages and experience levels so they’re perfect for complete beginners too. Parents and grandparents – just bring the kids along and have a go yourself – come and get fishing!
We’ll provide you with free tackle, bait, instruction and more info about local clubs and places to go fishing so you know what to do next time. Fishing is a fun, exciting, cheap and healthy outdoor activity plus it’s a great way to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet surrounded by nature.
