What's happening...

Get ready for a Reel Adventure for the whole family this Easter at one of our free, fun and friendly activity days.

Run by the Angling Trust and funded by the Environment Agency, the Reel Adventure events are a great way to get the whole family outdoors away from screens, learning new skills and discovering a world of natural wonders. Free for the whole family with events, games and equipment provided on the day, all that’s left for you to do is pack a picnic, pull on those boots and get your family fishing adventure started.

From showing you what to do with bait and tackle to offering top tips and expert instruction, volunteers will be on hand to make sure your family has all they need to uncover the wonderful world of fishing and get hooked on this great outdoor adventure.

Fun for all ages and experience, including those who’ve never picked up a rod before, this is a great chance to get the whole family away from their screens enjoying a new outdoor activity. And you never know, you may even catch something!

So pull on those boots and get ready to hear the birds, feel the breeze, see the sky. Shhhhh… watch the ripples and wait as your kids catch their very own reel adventure by the water.
